EFL offers specialized courses for clients who are interested in learning medical English terminology. This is a excellent program for foreign-trained doctors, nurses and medical students who would like to learn how to communicate with their patients and colleagues in English. Clients will learn how to read, write and speak with emphasis on medical terminology. The program covers medical terminology, practice in specialist vocabulary and a review of basic grammatical structures.
This course is also recommended for nurses and other healthcare workers who would like to work in Canada. EFL Clients will learn English from an experienced Instructor who are very knowledgeable and friendly. This program includes material drawn from a range of specialist course books and resource books.
This is a course that can be specifically tailored for foreign-trained nurses who want to pass the Registered Nurses Examination. Foreign-trained nurses must pass this exam in order to work in Canada. The medical instructor will go through each exam question with the students and teach them exam-writing skills to pass the RN exam.
