The Program
The practice of Law has increasingly become an international career. The rapid growth of international commerce, trade and litigations requires that lawyers from every culture become proficient in the international business language, English. EFL believes that many students of law would benefit from an intensive Legal English program in which advanced language skills are emphasized and practiced in a legal context.
The EFL Legal Program are taught by EFL Instructors who have a knowledge and experience in law thus allowing students to experience an American or Canadian law school atmosphere and providing opportunities for interaction with professionals.
NOTE: Please understand that this is a specialized English language program. Some courses will be conducted by teachers of English as a Second Language. The focus of the courses are in language acquisition and legal communication, not legal knowledge per se.
